Name: Martin John Nicholls
Age: Outside 52, inside I’m still 24, but I can still act like a 10 year old

If You Could Choose One Song To Be Played On Bay FM What Would It Be?
It Had To Be You – Harry Cornick Junior’s arrangement is breathtaking!
What Is Your Favourite Genre of Music? Big Band Jazz – Count Basie, and anything acoustic with integrity
What Do You Do In Your Spare Time? Sail, write songs, read, walk, cycle, enjoy Exmouth
What’s Your Favourite Food? Greek Salad
What’s Your Favourite Tipple? Doom Bar bitter
What Really Annoys You? How easily people lose their sense of perspective – any little thing here is a “complete nightmare” when all over the world billions live without food, shelter, water or hope.
What Is Your Best Achievement to Date?
After visiting the Middle East, I wrote a modern version of O Little Town of Bethlehem called Broken Town, reflecting the realities for ordinary people in The West Bank today. I was thrilled to hear that it was sung in the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem on Christmas Day last year. Wow.
Why Did You Want To Be Involved With Bay FM Radio? Because I have seen how high quality Community Radio can enrich a local area through informing and inspiring residents to take an interest, get involved and celebrate their town. Exmouth has a lot to celebrate!
If You Could Spend An Evening With Anyone Famous Dead or Alive Who Would It Be, And Why? Frank Sinatra – why…? The stories, man, the STORIES!!
If You Won 2 Million On The Lottery, What Would You Do? ‘HINT HINT’
I would donate just enough to the mighty BAY FM to secure their bid for full time broadcasting, a professional studio and youth training programme, and the rest I would give to Christian Aid working in Darfur and other parts of Africa
